He Who Repents Does Not Repent In Vain by Pastor C. Covert

Many of us have developed the “gift” of a Critical Spirit. That is, we nit-pick until we justify ourselves right out of the place of forgiveness and favor with the Lord. We strain at gnats and swallow camels. But today, I am asking that you do not presume to set yourself up as a judge of the Holy Spirit. Overlook the finer points that your “expertise” tells you “can’t be”, because there may be things you don’t know about the situation. Suspend judgment until you have read, re-read, and prayed on your knees before God.
