HE WHO REPENTS DOES NOT REPENT IN VAIN

BY PASTOR C. COVERT

Today I received the following warning message in my email (see below). I am grateful to have received it. For me it is a confirmation of so many visions and messages I have heard from true believers in Christ over the past ten or more years. It also confirms for me many dreams and visions I personally have had over the past 35 years.

Some will not be able to receive this word, because it is so hard to believe. We who live in spoiled, hedonistic, self-absorbed America will not be quick to realize that it is all about US!

But I tell you that from a very early age, the Lord showed me His Righteous Hatred of Abortion – it was the first dream/vision I ever received from Him: I saw barrels of aborted baby bodies and parts up behind the Hollywood Hills. It was a message that at such a young age in the Lord, I didn’t understand. Over the years I grew to understand that Hollywood starlets not only availed themselves of abortion on demand, but Hollywood worships a hedonistic society that puts no value on the precious gift that is human life. They murder and teach others to do so. They teach our daughters to be whores, and our sons to be pimps. They teach us that their bodies are their temples of sensual delight, and a BABY is just a piece of TISSUE, that a WOMAN has the right to control what happens to her own body – including the wee unwanted visitor in her womb – and therefore she has the right to COMMIT MURDER in the name of vanity and keeping her figure and not “ruining” her life. Many men are quite happy to leave this issue to the province of women, and they have just as much blood on their hands when they go along with it. Hollywood has shown us that children are of no value, except when used for children’s programming – literally the programming of our children. They have done a convincing job of it, and they have paved the way for the next step.

I saw child slavery in a vision. Little white boys and girls, naked and chained together, being led through catacombs and caves so they could be secretly led to their new masters. Today children are still kidnapped RIGHT OFF THE STREET OF AMERICA and sold to other nations, and we think that putting their pictures on milk-cartons will somehow bring them back from overseas. The parents leave their children alone all day and the criminals get a huge head start because nobody will miss the child who uses a key to let herself in the door after school, because her parents won’t be home until late and dinner is in the microwave…

I have seen in awful dreams the terrible evil and the abominations done deep underground – experiments on humans that have brought the Judgment of the Lord down on our heads. I have seen the tragic results of keeping women against their will so that they may be impregnated, their babies in the womb tampered with, and the terrible results of playing GOD! It is truly the trafficking in human bodies and souls, as it says in the Revelation. Evil men in our government are trying to create a new race of people they can control for their own means. If we aren’t Mystery Babylon, we do a great job of imitating her, and we will share in her reward!

Lately I have heard people I know talk about the “overpopulation” of the world. Of course, not a one of them thinks that solving the problem begins with their death! It’s always the other guy – that guy of a different color, that old guy begging on the corner, that baby in the womb that will be born with less than a perfect body, and that continent full of “savages” who don’t even drink good water or use real toilets. So sure, as long as it is someone we don’t know, by all means, reduce the population, starting with the ones who receive the largest dose of our prejudice! I weep to hear such hatred, such selfishness, such gullibility and such evil.

LET ME GO ON THE RECORD AND STATE THAT I ABHOR, HATE AND REJECT ABORTION! I PROTEST THE FACT THAT A GOVERNING BODY I DID NOT VOTE FOR IS FORCING ME TO PAY, THROUGH MY TAXES, FOR ABORTIONS – MURDERS OF UNBORN BABIES – FORCING ME TO PARTICIPATE BY PROXY IN SOMETHING THAT I HATE! IT IS EVIL, AND I REJECT IT! I ASK THE LORD TO HOLD ME, AND OTHERS LIKE ME, HARMLESS AND GUILTLESS FOR THE DEATHS OF THE INNOCENTS IN THIS COUNTRY WHOM WE COULD NOT SAVE BECAUSE OUR VOTES WERE NOT COUNTED – OUR VOICES WERE NOT HEARD – OUR HEARTFELT CONVICTIONS NOT RESPECTED. TRULY WE LIVE IN PERILOUS AND EVIL TIMES.

Those of you who know me have heard me speak of things that you didn’t want to hear, but you were kind enough to listen.

You have heard me tell you that the Wrath of God will be coming against all evil-doers, especially those who once knew the grace of the Holy Spirit, but who have now turned on the Church and begun to persecute Jesus’ own.

You heard the message that God is not going to “rapture” all of the “entitled” ones out while the rest suffer for His name’s sake. We were promised by John the Baptist that the Lord Jesus would baptize us with the Holy Spirit and…

… and:

(Oh, it’s so hard to say it, isn’t it?)

FIRE!

The purifying fires of the Almighty God will cleanse us. Some of us will go into captivity, and some will die by the sword. This requires patient endurance on the part of the saints, as John the Revelator said. Only Jesus Christ can get us through, but He will if we will trust Him with all our hearts.

This life is not all there is! Most of us are not getting out of here alive. We cling so tenaciously to life that one would think we HAD NO HOPE! But the Blessed Hope is that we will be together forever with our Lord and Savior, to worship the Father and to cast our crowns at His feet, crying out Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, Who Was and Who Is and Who Is To Come!

Now: I bring you a message from a brother in Christ who is a watchman on the wall. It is a hard message. I believe the message on the whole, and I recognize the Holy Spirit as the true author. I have seen the wrath of the Lord exercised against the backslider who turns and persecutes the church, and I know that God is going to bring this earth to a close soon.

Many of us have developed the “gift” of a Critical Spirit. That is, we nit-pick until we justify ourselves right out of the place of forgiveness and favor with the Lord. We strain at gnats and swallow camels. But today, I am asking that you do not presume to set yourself up as a judge of the Holy Spirit. Overlook the finer points that your “expertise” tells you “can’t be”, because there may be things you don’t know about the situation. Suspend judgment until you have read, re-read, and prayed on your knees before God.

As you read, please, open your Bibles and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into truth as you read through the vision and the words. Brace yourselves and gird up your loins so that you will be able to face the truth of the times we are in.

The message that the brother sent to me is hard. Pray for courage. Pray for wisdom. Far better to repent and cleanse the filth and disobedience from our lives now, to receive discipline as children who are dearly loved of the Father, than to be cast into outer darkness and lost forever. This world is not your home if you call yourself by the name of Jesus.

Therefore, to him who has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Church.

Here is the link to Brother Clifford Hilbert’s word. Please read it prayerfully, and pass it on. If he is right (and I believe he is, in large part) then there is little time. If he is wrong, it will have done you no harm to come out of the WORLD and cling to the Lord. May the Holy Spirit give us all hearts to listen and obey. Let us be righteous as Noah, who withstood the ridicule of his generation as he continued to obey the Lord up to the time that the Lord shut the door to the ark Himself. http://www.watchman2009.blogspot.com/

May we be graced with the true fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of real wisdom.

Dear Readers: I felt that the following message is very appropriate for our times, and so important I have decided to post it here. All of us should be alert, in prayer. God bless you. Sister Cathian

**********************************************

Sink Or Swim NOW! The Gulf Oil Tragedy

By Pastor C. Covert (http://pastorccovert.wordpress.com)

Being misunderstood is a frustrating thing. But being ignored or scoffed at as a “crank” is often the fruit of that misunderstanding, and it makes me even more frustrated. I’m frustrated because I am so afraid that I will not say the message clearly enough, and that some may not catch the importance of my message until it is too late. This is so unthinkable to me that it causes me to groan and pray before the Lord, begging Him to help me convince people while there is still a little bit of time.

So I’ve come to a decision. I am writing to urge my friends living in or near the Gulf of Mexico to all go on vacation – if they don’t believe they should relocate altogether – and do it soon, so you would be prevented from being taken where you don’t want to go. If I am wrong, if my prophecy and vision is false prophet, then you’ll all have a vacation, and come back to your normal lives when you are finished. I will apologize publicly, and then sink quietly back into oblivion without further protest.

But if I don’t warn you, and then you are taken from your homes suddenly, and if some of you are so shocked that you resist and get shot or taken to jail instead of a FEMA camp: then your blood will be on my hands when I stand before my Lord Jesus.

I’ve labored over this Gulf Oil gusher and what it means to all of us: night and day, weeping before the Lord, waiting for the right moment to speak publicly. I’ve been sending out news reports, videos and opinion editorials written by well-informed individuals, and entering into dialog with any who would speak with me – and there are very few who do. For over six weeks I’ve been “watching from the wall”, reporting whatever I find to everyone I can think of. I spend eight hours or more on some days just sifting through the available news out there to try to find out what’s true, so I can pass it on to those who need to know.

DISCLAIMER – PLEASE NOTE: I don’t claim that every part of every report I pass on to you is accurate. I can’t vouch for every other article on a web-site that carries one that I think is spot-on. I don’t say, and don’t believe, that every video we see on YouTube is right. I’m just priming your pump, so to speak – trying to get you to do some investigating on your own. I try to provide enough information that you can get a sampling, an overall “flavor” or sense of what the real truth is.

I’ve been sending out warnings about the Gulf of Mexico for more than six weeks, and it seems that most people don’t wish to pay attention to that which they have decided has nothing to do with them. They didn’t “see the oil”, so they reason that it will not come near them. But no matter how much denial some people entertain, someone must be able to see, smell, and feel that things are not normal anymore in the Gulf of Mexico. Someone knows someone else who can’t feed his family, and someone who can’t take her shrimp boat out. Someone has seen the crude lying thickly in the wetlands, and surf washing up tar balls. Someone has gone to his favorite beach with the family and had to go home because the beach was covered in long, smelly streaks of crude. Some have dug down a short way through the sand to find pooled up crude just under the surface. Some have seen dead fish, dying porpoises and suffocating pelicans. Everyone knows someone who has seen something.

There is a time for optimism. There is a time for truth: for understanding that no amount of wishful thinking is going to change what is happening.

There are certain things we can tune out because they are of no consequence to us. There are certain things that can kill us if we don’t pay attention.

People are far too dependent on the main network news stations. But I have very good reason to believe that there is a mainstream media blackout on the Gulf Oil spill. I have sources that I need to protect that are finding independent verification of a lot of the technical information I have found on the web-sites of various news outlets.

My best friend, a helicopter pilot, is working in the Gulf, in Louisiana, right now, and he reported to me yesterday that the place we used to fish in Port Fourchon (just a few miles from Grand Isle) just got covered with crude and gas sheen. He saw it with his own eyes. I mourn for the beauty of that place, and it is only a speck in the ocean of crude that BP is diligently sinking 20 feet or so, below the surface, so that it pools up under the seeming-clear Gulf waters.

BP is using Corexit 9500, a dispersant that is highly toxic to all marine life and to humans, to sink the crude below the surface. It was estimated a couple of weeks ago that there was a pool at least 40 feet deep, of crude oil lying on the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. The oxygen is being depleted, all the zoo-plankton is or has already been destroyed, and the food chain from the smallest to the largest is dead or dying. Even the birds that depend on the waters for their food are diving for dying fish and coming up covered in crude or poisoned water.

The odor from the water is in the air, and it is unhealthy to breathe. The large shrimping boats that are being deployed to drag crude into pools and burn it are insufficient. They can catch some of what is on top of the water, but it does nothing for the main body of oil that sits on the floor of the Gulf where no fire can burn it off. This is like trying to drain the ocean with a five-gallon bucket.

There are nowhere near enough booms set out to collect the top-oil, and crude is soaking into the marshes as if they were sponges. It will enter the ground water, if it hasn’t already begun to. It is not a safe place to live, and the fishing, shrimping, tourism and other Gulf Waters-dependent industries are not going to come back for a long time because the Gulf is becoming a Dead Zone for wildlife and aquatic life.

Peace and Safety. That’s what we all want. But the time has come for our nation when Peace and Safety are nothing but an illusion; the reality of want, need and personal peril for the general populace is at the door.

Some cannot do anything to change their situations. Some can, but choose to scoff. Very few are taking this seriously.

Time will prove whether I was being a fearful alarmist over false or inflated reports; or whether I was giving a warning that truly was from God, with real, verifiable evidence, when He showed me a huge black dragon head with wide open maw covering the entire Gulf of Mexico.

What did the dragon mean? The black head was truly evil – in the Bible, the dragon always represents the devil. The mouth was wide open, like a black hole, devouring everything in the Gulf. It covered the entire Gulf of Mexico, and that means all the shorelines, and everything that goes on in the Gulf – industry derived from the Gulf as well as all that live in or from its waters.

Oil is not evil. The dragon does not represent that oil is evil. Oil is a resource that God has put on the earth for us to use. But the Dragon represents the Industry, and all the Governments behind it, which have committed and do continue to commit great evil in their attempts to control this resource at all costs.

It must be obvious now that I believe in what the Lord showed me. I believe it enough to resort to pleading with all of you – if you don’t believe me, then please do your own research, find out for yourself, and then tell someone else what you discover! Don’t rely on the mainstream media to tell you the truth of what is going on! They tell you only what they are allowed to feed you, and by the time they are allowed to announce that FEMA is getting ready to take you to new homes, it will be time to go!

I pray for everyone who must do something to save themselves, that they do not become people who should have done something to save themselves. The evacuation is coming, and a massive buildup of FEMA and Homeland Security personnel has swelled to at least 175,000 people, as of one report today. They have been called to the Gulf of Mexico in order to prepare for the evacuation of Gulf residents.

Whether you believe in the oil spill or not, believe that they will move you, and you won’t have a choice.

Whether you believe the stories I have sent you or not, believe that you will take only what you can carry in your hands and the rest will be lost to you.

The lines are being redrawn in the United States. Katrina was a walk in the park compared to what is coming now. Our nation’s economy has already been dealt a mortal wound – it needs only to lie down and die. We who belong to the Lord must draw upon His strength and on our most holy faith in order to prepare our hearts, our minds, and our bodies for the time that we are entering. We must glorify the Lord in our actions, and not let the enemy drive us to fear. We must have the mind of Christ, and be strong in the strength of His might.

I have dedicated a page on my blog too news sources everywhere, regardless of political stance, because I believe that to put a wide array of information is the best way for the public to sample what is out there, in order to determine proper action: pastorccovert.wordpress.com/gulf-oil-disaster-news/

Armed with prayer, if we seriously seek God, we can each know for ourselves what we should do. No matter what, we need to pray that we are where God wants us at all times; His will and plans for us should always supersede our own!

Time is short. I have given you many news reports, clips, videos, and the words of credible witnesses. I have prayed and wept over the tragedy that is, and is to come. I am worried for my friends in the Gulf of Mexico who will only listen when the troops are at the door. I am worried that they won’t go peacefully, and that many will die, especially in Louisiana.

PLEASE! If you are still in your houses when the troops come to evacuate you, then go peacefully and do not fight or struggle. There may come a time when many of us will be taken where we do not wish to go, and that is the time to remember that our Lord Jesus Christ is with us, and we can be a witness of Him to others no matter where we are – even in jail!

So, at the risk of my credibility, I am begging you! Won’t you please pray and ask God what you should do?

You may email me if you wish: pastorccovert@gmail.com

If you wish to be on my mailing list for whatever current news I can find, or for eye-witness reports from my own sources, please let me know by sending an email with the word: “Subscribe Oil” in the subject line, and I will put you on the list.

Those of you who know my real name, I am asking you to keep safe my anonymity so that I can work freely without endangering my friends’ work in the Gulf, or other contacts who need the same protection. At the same time, I am humbly requesting your prayers for him, for all the people in the Gulf who have lost so much and stand to lose it all, and for all believers in the Body of Christ to wake up and see the times we are in.

Your servant in Christ,

By Sister Cathian

Today a dear friend of mine sent me an email that contained a [i]link to a news story about the emotional impact the movie “Avatar” has had on many of its viewers. Some have expressed suicidal ideation, and some have told of their feelings of hopelessness. There are support groups springing up online to help people deal with their emotions after seeing the movie. There are folks lamenting the fact that humans cannot go and live on a pristine world like Pandora, and others who can hardly face their day-to-day existence now that they have seen the movie.

Since I have been promising to write my own review of sorts, and with a nod to my friend, Franklin, I figured his email was the impetus I needed to do so.

Let me start in the middle – between the time I first saw the movie, and the present…

I was stunned into silence as I left the movie and sat on a bench in the theater, waiting for my husband. As I left the theater, I literally could not speak, because I was choking back tears of outrage. By the time I got into the car with my husband, I was sobbing, and when I could finally speak, I was pouring out invectives for this culture and the society we live in.

Though I eventually dried my tears, my eyes twitched for hours afterwards, and they ached from the strain of watching my very first three-dimensional movie. It was thrilling, emotional, nearly engulfing me in the experience (I say nearly because 3-D glasses don’t work well with tri-focal progressive lenses), and the mundane quality of real life was accentuated for me on the drive home as I looked around at the ordinary cars and trees and roads and people and skies and mountains and, and…

It took me days to process the experience of the 3-D movie, James Cameron’s Avatar: a fact which didn’t stop me from going back to see it again the very next day. There was a certain “something” that I couldn’t quite put my finger on the first time through, but by the second viewing, I figured it out – something disquieting, something true and yet untrue, but which had wrapped its tendrils around my heart and squeezed it in a discomforting way.

Loneliness.

The sadness of the plight of the natives of this continent or North America was brought home afresh for me as I watched Cameron’s amazing ten-feet-tall sensual creatures glide before my wondering eyes. Immediately I felt the connection between the Na’vi and our own Native Americans. The fact that there was a nation full of indigenous peoples who simply called themselves The People in their respective languages was part of the loneliness I experienced as I watched the Na’vi tribal life.

Most European settlers who came to North America had no such tribal connections, and probably had no clue about what they were destroying in order to conquer the Native Americans. But sitting there in the movie theater, I was lonely for a tribe: for kith and kin who live and breathe and die together, who laugh and play and cry and work and sing and shout and have contests of bravery and distinguish themselves in their unique ways and yet are part of the whole clan. We Americans can barely live together in multi-generational homes. We are insular, separate, independent and alone for the most part.

Having read the books, Trail of Tears: The Rise and Fall of the Cherokee Nation, by John Ehle, The Trail of Tears, by Gloria Jehoda, and more recently, Sacajawea, by Anna Lee Waldo, I understood that the natives of this continent had no chance to overcome the aliens that invaded their land. They were people of wood, earth and stone coming against people who had the iron horse and rifles and biological weaponry in the form of smallpox and other evils against which they could not stand.

But Avatar gave us a glimpse of the revenge that could have been. It offered the false hope of a do-over that shall never be realized.

It is true that many white people became assimilated into Indian tribes, but they brought with them new technology that simultaneously improved the tribal life and sealed their doom.

Like the serpent in the Garden of Eden who promised Eve things that she could not even understand, yet he created a longing in her heart for more than she had in that perfect world – she could be like God, knowing good from evil – Jake brings his own technology to the assistance of the Na’vi in time to teach them the art of war on a whole new level. Never would those people be the same. In fact, where the old tribal ways kept their world in balance, now they were accepting a hybrid body with an alien mind as their new leader.

Which brings me to the second kind of loneliness Mr. Cameron’s movie stirs up: the feeling that there must be some other, or many others, “out there”. He switched up the old story of aliens from other countries coming to invade our world to steal our resources and subjugate our people; he made us the aliens, whom, after raping and pillaging and “killing our mother” [sic], have jumped to other planets to do the same to other native cultures.

Mr. Cameron’s take on the human bent for conquering and assimilation is not a new story.

C.S. Lewis did it (arguably) first, but by far he did it best, and was perhaps more deeply and keenly aware of the way human nature fails as he portrayed this very scenario in his first book of his celebrated Space Trilogy, Out of the Silent Planet (1938). In this story, he lays bare the fallen man’s heart of greed and the need for dominance that is most successfully employed by he who has the biggest stick, but he goes far beyond Star Wars’ spirituality or Avatar’s technology by eloquently exposing the black hole that is the human heart without God. He brilliantly brings to the fore the arrogance, single-minded desire for conquest, and the subsequent humiliation of our species before those whose greatness we cannot comprehend due to the hubris that floats like a log in the proverbial eye. He employs a single Cambridge don on holiday, cleverly named Ransom, to save the world after he is forced aboard a spaceship that lands on a planet that is not only inhabited by flesh and blood creatures, but also accompanied by a spiritual presence his own home earth has not known since the great war in heaven.

Avatar’s hero, Jake Sully, cannot sense the “mother” of Na’vi at first, even though his Avatar body is derived of both human and Na’vi DNA. He is a warrior at heart, though his human body is badly damaged and his legs are completely useless. The audience experiences his joy vicariously as his own mind is connected to the grey matter within the Avatar body and he begins to work his hybrid human-Na’vi legs and feet for the first time. We all wonder how it would be to have a new body, especially those of us who are chronically ill and in pain, paralyzed, or missing limbs.

Jake plummets into the world of Pandora like a bull in a china shop. He stirs up the natural balance of the flora and fauna of the planet and nearly gets himself killed several times in the process. When Neytiri, daughter of the tribal leaders, watches the seeds of the Tree of Souls land on Jake, she determines that he has a strong heart. When she brings him home to meet mother and father, the fact that he is a warrior impresses them so much that they decide she, Neytiri, must train him in their ways - a decision that seems out of keeping with the usual tribal way of life (to kill the warrior of a threatening clan before he can kill them first), but which is vetted by Neytiri’s assertion that “there has been a sign.”

Even near the end of the movie, when Jake turns to the Tree of Souls to connect “biologically” with the tendrils in his Avatar tail, after he finishes his prayer to Pandora’s deity, Eywah, Neytiri informs him that her job is merely to keep the balance on their world (shades of “the Force”), and that she does not usually answer individual prayers.

Jake has no particular faith in Eywah (a thinly veiled substitute for Yahweh), but like all good warriors, he knows there are no atheists in foxholes. So he prays to the earth deity – the biological creature that connects the entire planet together with its inhabitants, all apparently imbued with a sentient being unlike that of his own world. His loneliness and separation from his own species is felt here as he reaches out to something or someone he does not know. It is like that for people who do not know God, and I am convinced this struck a chord in the hearts of many viewers, whether they knew it or not at the time.

The Na’vi people’s physical connection with their strange flying dragons, and horses with six legs, is very reminiscent of Anne McCaffrey’s heart and soul connection between dragons and their riders in her Dragon Riders of Pern.

And once more we are forced to recognize the loneliness we feel. This time it is due to the enmity that is between man and wild creatures, because the closest we can get to communing with them these days is usually horse-whispering, dog-whispering, taming certain wild cats, studying and training dolphins, keeping aviaries, keeping bees, wrangling rats and tarantulas, or owning household pets, etc.

We observe them, we tend to them, we capture and domesticate them, and we may even be able to have communication on a very pedantic level; we teach them to understand certain words and to give us calculated responses, but we do not know their thoughts any further than they have allowed us to observe. They go to the door to show us they need to go potty. They cry at their food dishes to tell us they are hungry. They scratch us if we hold on too tightly, and they snuggle if they like our warm company.

But it was God who put enmity between man and animal at the fall of creation when He provided skins from the first animals to shed blood in order to cover the nakedness of our mother Eve and father Adam. And try as we might, there is nothing we can do in general to reverse that trend, even though Creation groans for its salvation even now.

Did we kill our first mother, as Avatar suggests?

The idea of Gaia, our mother earth (taken from the name Gaea, the Greek goddess of the earth and mother of Cronus and the Titans), dying due to our actions is not terribly far off the mark, but it is a lie that contains only a kernel of the truth.

Elohim’s spirit breathed and brooded over the depths like a hen hovering over her chicks, and then God spoke and said, “Let there be light”, and there was light (Genesis 1:2-3). It is said that it was a feminine aspect of God’s spirit that brooded over the void, as part of the Elohim (plural) of which our Father, Son and Holy Spirit are part. In Revelation 3:1 Jesus speaks of “He who has the seven spirits of God…” so it is not heresy to believe that God, who made male and female creatures, could express Himself in several different genders (not to be confused with sex: male or female). In Luke 13:34, Jesus expresses his desire to gather Jerusalem as a hen gathers her brood, and therein also confirms the Genesis description of God brooding over the face of the deep. It also confirms His unity with the Elohim.

If God is our Creator, then He is both father and mother of creation. He created Adam, the first man, and placed him in the Garden of Eden. Because God saw that it was not good for man to be alone, He caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and took a rib from his side and formed a woman, so-called because she was taken out of man. God created Adam from the dust of the earth, but God created Eve in a special way, taking her from the first man.

There are those who see the earth as their “first cause”, and therefore, they see her as their mother. Many indigenous tribes over the earth have a special feeling and bond with the earth, and they are close to its creatures and plants in a way that modern man cannot understand, or simply scoffs at.

However, even those indigenous tribes, whether from the dark Amazon rain-forests, or the African plains, or the Native Americans, or the happy Hunzans, know there is something of spirit, which cannot be explained simply by observing plants and animals. Some imbue animals with certain powers, or wish to partake of their observed nature and character, and yet they reserve their total reverence and awe for a Great Spirit, from whom they acknowledge all things come.

For modern man, it is a “fact” that we humans are killing our planet – our mother – but we either err on the side of Darwin’s theory of evolution, or we have very short memories and don’t know our own true history and therefore conclude that all the damage to the earth is new and if we just slow down our “population explosion” and participate in “sustainable” projects, we can eventually reverse the damage we have caused.

In 1979 the Georgia Guidestones were created, and their message was written in eight modern languages, and clearly spelled out the agenda of the New World Order:

Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.

Guide reproduction wisely – improving fitness and diversity.

Unite humanity with a living new language.

Rule passion – faith – tradition – and all things with tempered reason.

Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.

Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.

Avoid petty laws and useless officials.

Balance personal rights with social duties.

Prize truth – beauty – love – seeking harmony with the infinite.

Be not a cancer on the earth – Leave room for nature – Leave room for nature.

Within these ten suggestions we find the heart and soul of today’s cry for sustainability, and we can find many of its basic tenets are expressed by Mr. Cameron’s “Avatar”.

But we also see that the anonymous man, representing an anonymous group, has an agenda that supercedes and replaces the need for God. The Georgia Guidestones is the face of an agenda that goes against the very truth of God.

God created the earth. God is not dead.

God created Adam and Eve.

The serpent tempted Eve, and Eve succumbed. Her mate, Adam, who was present for the whole show, chose to fall with his woman. Because of our human “mother” sin entered into the world, and eventually she died.

Therefore we did not kill our “mother” earth. In fact, our first mother killed our earth by introducing sin into the world.

But our Creator had a plan, and even as He killed the first animals to provide skins to cover our naked first parents, and drove them out of the Garden and away from the Tree of Life, He also prophesied a time when the woman’s seed would become the salvation of her race. One of her sons would one day crush the serpent’s head.

We are all born with the knowledge of our Creator God in our hearts. It is in our very DNA to remember that there is a God, no matter how hard we fight to try to disprove it.

By virtue of that knowledge, we also know that there is a Paradise of God, and we long to see it. It is my contention that the longing Mr. Cameron’s “Avatar” has touched upon is our innate longing to be reunited with our Creator, and to see that Garden of Eden – that paradise that was lost.

The bad news is that Mr. Cameron can only touch on that need and amplify that longing for beauty and heavenly unity that he shows us in fantastic three-dimensional images.

The good news is that God has promised that those who love Him, who come to Him, will in no wise be cast out. Whosoever will follow will inherit the Kingdom of God. He sent someone better than Jake Sully, human-Na’vi hybrid. He sent His son, Jesus, wholly God and wholly man, to show us how to come to Him.

Everything is in perspective for me now. “Avatar” was an amazing movie, and a thrilling ride. But “earth” is not my mother; it is just my temporary home, and I’m just passing through.

One more thing…

The fictional Pandora was a remarkable place, and it awakened in many a longing for home. But if Mr. Cameron can imagine such a place, it can’t be heaven, because:

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (10) But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1Corinthians 2:9-10
