We have submitted to the Lord so that the twisted bent of eschatalogical teachings could be “unlearned” and we have asked the Lord to show us the truth. Many Christians are missing the important warnings contained within this parable, and this is due in large part to erroneous interpretation of the symbols Jesus used. I invite you, even urge you, to get your bible and double-check these passages of scripture, which follow, so that you can see the truth for yourself. I warn you that this may possibly fly in the face of what you have previously been taught. It may challenge your view of eschatology (the study of End Times), as well. It is important to pray, and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you into truth, just as Jesus said the Holy Spirit would do. If you discover you have received a lie, and that you have based your plans for future action (or inaction) upon that lie, you may feel angry, betrayed, upset or incredulous. Trust me when I say that you are not alone. I went through the same thing after years of swallowing the lie whole, and then learning the truth! It is very troubling, and there are many others who feel the same way. |
